Sunrooms
Sunrooms in Houston, TX
A glass walled room that brings the outdoors in and keeps the heat, the rain and the bugs out. Family owned for 35+ years and fully insured.
Light Filled Living
A Room You Can Use in Every Season
The back yard is hard to enjoy for a good stretch of the year around here. July is brutal, spring is wet, and the mosquitoes never take a day off. So the yard sits there and you look at it through a window.
A sunroom changes that. Glass windows and panels wrap the space, so you keep the view and the daylight and leave the heat outside. It’s real living space added to your home, and closing in a patio you already have is a good deal less disruptive than building a room from scratch.
- Glass windows and panels bring daylight in from every wall of the room
- Energy efficient glass turns away radiant heat and UV, which matters in a room made of windows
- We close in existing patios and finish them as rooms you can use all year
- Everything is built to local code by a crew that’s fully insured

Sunroom Options
Choose the Room That Fits Your House
Every sunroom is drawn around the space you already have and the way you plan to spend time in it.
How It Works
Designing and Building Your Sunroom
Design, permit, build. You sign off on each stage before the next one starts.
Free In Home Visit
We come out, look at the patio or the wall your new room will tie into, and ask how you want to use it. There’s no cost and no obligation.
Design and Glass
We plan the room around your house. You pick the glass, the layout and the finishes, and the drawings are made to meet local building regulations.
Build and Final Walkthrough
Our crew frames the room, sets the glass and cleans up after themselves. Then we show you around the finished sunroom before we call it done.
Most of the work happens outside the house, so your routine keeps running while the room goes up.
Real Construction
A Sunroom Is a Room, Not a Kit
It gets framed, roofed, wired and finished like any other part of the house.
- Family owned and operated in Texas
- Fully insured crews, and one project manager who stays with your job
- We don’t swap to cheaper materials once the crew is on site
- We’re BBB A+ Accredited, and financing is available on a room addition this size

What It Costs
What Affects Your Sunroom Price
A sunroom is priced like a room addition, because that’s what it is. Size, glass and the foundation decide most of the price.
Size of the Room
A small sitting room costs less than one that spans the back of the house. Square footage drives most of the total.
Glass and Panels
Glass is the big material choice. Multi paned, energy efficient glass costs more and does far more to hold the heat out.
Patio or New Floor
Closing in a slab you already have takes different work than pouring and framing a floor from scratch.
Finishes and Extras
Flooring, ceiling fans, electrical and the trim you choose each add to the base price.

Common Questions
Sunroom Questions
What exactly is a sunroom?
It’s a room built onto your house with glass windows and panels for walls. You get the view and the daylight of the yard while you sit inside in comfort.
Can I use it in a Texas summer?
That’s the whole idea. The glass we recommend deflects radiant heat and UV rays, so the light comes in without the burn. Fans inside add airflow on the hottest days.
Does a sunroom add value?
It adds finished living space, which buyers look for. It also changes how the back of the house looks and feels from the yard.
Can you close in my patio?
Often yes, and it’s one of the most common projects we do. Using the slab you already have saves you the cost of building a new floor first.
Will it cut my energy bill?
It can help. All that daylight means you reach for the light switch less, and multi paned glass slows the heat coming through. How much you save depends on the house.
Do you handle building regulations?
Yes. Our sunroom crews build to the local rules, so the space is put together right and it’s safe to use. You’re not the one chasing the paperwork.
FAQ
More Sunroom Answers
How long does a sunroom take to build?
Once the design is approved and the materials arrive, your project manager hands you the dates and tells you what is happening at each stage.
Do I need HOA approval for a sunroom?
Plenty of Houston area neighborhoods want sign off before you add on to the house. Ask your HOA early. We’ll hand you the drawings and the details they ask to see.
How comfortable is the room in August?
We plan that with you at the consultation. Energy efficient glass keeps a lot of the heat outside, and fans move the air inside. How far you take it depends on how you want to use the room through the year.
What kind of glass do you use?
For our projects we recommend multi paned, Energy Star certified glass. It deflects radiant heat and UV rays, so you get all the daylight without the room turning into an oven by noon.
