How It Works
From Your Call to a Finished Cover
There are three stages to the job, and the same project manager sees you through all of them.
We Come Out and Measure
We look at the slab, the roofline and where the water runs off the house, then write up a price for the cover you have in mind.
You Choose the Roof and the Extras
Pick the roof, the columns and any lights you want. It’s worth deciding on those now, because the wiring is much easier to run while the roof is going up.
We Build It and Clean Up
Our crew sets the columns, frames and finishes the roof, and hauls off the scraps. Then we go over the finished cover with you, top to bottom.
If your HOA needs to approve it first, we’ll give you the drawings and details they ask to see.

Common Questions About Patio Covers
How much does a patio cover cost?
Mostly it comes down to the size of the patio, the kind of roof you choose, and whether the cover ties into the house. Lights and a gas line add to it. Once we’ve seen your patio, we can give you an exact number instead of a ballpark.
Can you build over the patio I have now?
Yes, and most of our covers go over a slab that’s already there. We check the slab and the drainage when we come out, then design the cover around them.
Does an insulated roof make a difference?
It does, especially in July. It keeps a lot of the heat off the people sitting underneath, and it quiets the drumming when the rain comes down hard.
How long does it take?
That depends on the size of the cover and what goes into it. Once you’ve approved the design and the materials are in, your project manager will give you firm dates instead of a guess.
